UPDATES!

It's been a while but I'm back... you know... sorta. 

I wanted to take a few seconds to update you all on what's going on. Why the radio silence? Where have I been? 

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter (you should absolutely do that by the way), you'll be aware that I met Alan-Flipping-Alda a few months ago. That's a thing that happened.

Remember that competition I entered? Well I won it. It was an incredible honour and not a small confidence boost, to be voted the winner. Thank you so much if you were one of the kids that voted for me! It should also be noted that Alan Alda is one of the best people ever. I mean, he smiles with his entire face - what's not to love? 

After that... well things kind of got away from me. I got back to Australia, was crippled by intense jet-lag and didn't really get my mojo back until about a month ago. It happens sometimes. Plus when you're a casual worker and freelancer like me, work tends to come and go in waves of craziness. (I have a bunch of things to show for the wave of freelance crazy though - check out SciShow on YouTube for some more of my episodes!) 

About a month ago, I finally found time and energy to get back to my channel and do some aggressive re-thinking and planning. I think you're going to like what I've come up with but it's still in early stages. Plus I'm waiting on a new, super shiny camera to arrive. New toys! Woop!
