Xenophyophores - new SciShow script!
So Hank Green read my words again...
This may be my favourite of all of the scripts I've done for SciShow so far (there are a few more to come). Xenophyophores are possibly one of the weirdest things in the ocean for me and that's saying something.
Have a watch and don't forget to subscribe to SciShow for daily doses of science goodness!
I also wanted to just acknowledge the wonderful Professor Andrew Gooday of the UK National Oceanography Centre for fielding a bunch of my questions. I asked him what particularly fascinated him about these organisms apart from the fact that they're one-flipping-cell and he went "Oh by the way... they're radioactive".
Awesome.
